Meeting Rooms

George & Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library

There are two meeting rooms at our Mitchell Library. Our Small Meeting Room (222) is located upstairs in a quiet area of the library and has a capacity of 12. Our Large Meeting Room (102) is located off the first-floor lobby, adjacent to the vending machines. The Large Meeting Room has a kitchen with a sink available for use, a large AV screen with projector, room dividers, and a capacity of 75.

RESERVE A MEETING ROOM

  1. Submit the Meeting Room Application if you have not done so.

     
  2. If you would like to have an additional person listed who can check out the room on your behalf, that person will also need to fill out their own Meeting Room Application with us.

  3. Submit for approval your room request.

    *Please note that rooms may be booked up to 90 days in advance and must be booked at least 1 week in advance.

BOOK EQUIPMENT

  1. Equipment must be booked in conjunction with a meeting room request.

  2. Submit the Meeting Room Application if you have not done so.

  3. Please see the instructions below before proceeding to the equipment booking page.

    • Ensure that you select the library that corresponds with the room you have booked from the "Location" drop-down box at the top of the equipment booking page.
    • Click "More details" on the piece of equipment you would like to book.
    • Select the green box that corresponds with the start time of your meeting room request.
    • Ensure that your end time is correct and select "Add to Cart" if you would like to request other pieces of equipment or click "Add to Cart & Checkout" if you are finished selecting equipment. If you are not directed to the checkout screen, you can also click the green cart button on the top right-hand side.
    • Enter the information requested and click "Submit My Booking."
  4. Visit our equipment booking page linked below. This will open a new page.
